John Francis

Biog :
John Francis Shemmings started his career at age 17 acting in many different Theatre productions in and around the Newcastle area whilst simultaneously studying at Newcastle College for Performing Arts. It was at College where John fell in love with an additional aspect to acting, that was film & TV. After John graduated college and received his Diploma for performing arts, he auditioned and got accepted to The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, a school which specializes in method acting for film & TV. Whilst studying in New York City John booked many roles in both films and TV series. His most noticeable role was playing "Reggie" in "The Last Apartment" which went on to win "Best Feature" at the Diamond Film Festival in New York. Since graduating in New York John has returned to the UK to continue his acting adventure. John is a very diverse actor, the roles he mostly enjoys are deep characters with a lot to figure out as John loves the journey of developing into that character. Aside from acting, John is a very active person who likes to keep fit and play pretty much any sport when he gets the opportunity. John has a passion for music too, he plays the drums and is currently learning guitar. All together John takes his acting career very seriously and is professional and friendly.
